Since 2020, BASLA is developing an interdisciplinary environment with three main different lines of research on the topic of Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition. Specifically, the research carried out within the group focuses on the language acquisition process of monolingual, bilingual, and multilingual speakers with typical and/or atypical language development and on how different languages interact at the processing level in the bilingual and multilingual mind.
